Oak Hall in Haslemere, Surrey, which will house 51 residents, is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment and is scheduled to open its doors in the autumn.

Karen Williams, general manager, Oak Hall added: “We are very excited about offering a new standard of care for discerning residents. All the other homes in the Elizabeth Finn portfolio enjoy exceptional ratings from residents and families and we are planning to get Oak Hall to the same high standard. Richard Hawes, CEO Elizabeth Finn Homes, added: “This is an exciting new development for us as our care home portfolio expands. I am delighted that Karen, who was the registered manager of the first nursing home in Surrey to get an Outstanding CQC rating, has joined our team and brought her extensive experience of operating high-end care facilities.

“It is an added bonus that we will be creating jobs in the local community, as well as supporting local businesses as we aim to source as much as possible from within the communities in which we operate.”

A range of care services will be offered by the service, including residential, convalescent, respite and specialist palliative care.

The home will boast restaurant style dining alongside a dedicated social engagement team who will be running a wide range of activities to keep residents active, as well as on-site hairdresser and a fully-licensed bar.
