Suzanne Scholz and Justine Hornby have been appointed as home manager and deputy manager, respectively, at The Hamptons Care Centre in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire.
The duo will be responsible for the 76 bed care home, its residents and 100-strong team.
Suzanne, who boasts many experience at Bupa and HC-One, said: “Being local I was aware of The Hamptons and knew that it was the best care facility on the Fylde Coast, so I was thrilled to join as Home Manager. I want to carry on the good work, further improving the excellent standards of care we provide. By motivating my team, I will ensure they continue to go the extra mile for our residents, so that they can enjoy their retired life at The Hamptons.”
Justine, a qualified general nurse for over 30 years, said she was attracted to The Hamptons’ friendly and family-orientated environment.
She added: “It is great to be working with Suzanne. She focuses on the resident’s mental health and I monitor their physical health, so we complement each other.
“The Hamptons has a thriving, vibrant community based on the very best quality of care provided. I hope to build on resident and family relations as well as support Suzanne as she leads the talented team already well established, who all have a common goal; to do their very best for the benefit of all residents.”
CEO at New Care, Chris McGoff, added: “We are pleased to welcome Suzanne and Justine to New Care. We were impressed by their career achievements, both separately and as a duo, having previously work together.
“We are confident they will exceed at The Hamptons, leading the team, ensuring the highest standards and creating a warm, welcoming and safe environment for all those in their care.”
