HC-One launches construction of 80-bed care home in York

HC-One has launched construction of an 80-bed care home in York that will provide residential, nursing and memory care.

The launch of the City of York Council procured home, which is scheduled to open in autumn 2020, was marked by a turf cutting ceremony at the site in Burnholme.

Construction of the care home, which will be part of a Health and Wellbeing Hub, is being led by specialist developer Morgan Ashley, a joint venture between Ashley House plc and Morgan Sindall Investments Ltd.

The Morgan Ashley team is supported by architects Penoyre & Prasad, contractor Pacy & Wheatley and Employers Agent Rider Levett Bucknall.
