Christie & Co sells North Yorkshire care home to experienced local operator

Morris Grange Nursing Home in Middleton Tyas, Richmond, North Yorkshire has been sold through specialist business property advisor, Christie & Co.

The home was sold on the behalf of administrators to experienced local operator, GH Group.

Morris Grange is a substantial, converted home with three main extensions and a day care centre. The home is registered for up to 71 residents and specialises in nursing, residential dementia and challenging behaviour.

Set in a tranquil location just outside the busy village of Middleton Tyas, Morris Grange offers extensive grounds and parking.

The property has been purchased by GH Group, who said: “Christie & Co were very efficient in assisting with the purchase and we appreciate their continued support.”

Jonathan Wickens, Director at Christie & Co who handled the sale, added: “We are pleased to complete a sale to GH Group and we wish them well moving forward. The care market continues to provide opportunities for regional operators to acquire additional homes and, with some capital investment, bring them up to modern standards for future use.”
