Morris Care has appointed Krzysztof Obrzut to the new role of Maintenance Compliance Officer for its six Nursing Homes across Shropshire and Cheshire, with his main base at Oldbury Grange in Bridgnorth.
Krzysztof will be responsible for all health and safety compliance checks, keeping records up to date, supporting maintenance colleagues and carrying out maintenance audits of its buildings.
“I am more than happy and so proud to work for Morris Care,” said Krzysztof.
“I did not expect this promotion which is a really big step forward. It’s an exciting and important role to make sure residents and staff live and work in a safe environment.”
Krzysztof, aged 33, joined the business more than three years ago. His skills have been used in a variety of ways from working on bedroom refurbishments at Oldbury Grange to checking facilities like smoke alarms, lighting and access are compliant for residents’ safety.
Thomas Mooney, Morris Care Facilities Manager, said: “Krzysztof has a caring approach and shows great attention to detail. His promotion is well deserved. We provide quality care across our homes and believe in giving opportunities to people who share our values.”
Morris Care has homes in Shrewsbury, Telford, Bridgnorth, All Stretton and Audlem and has been delivering high level care for nearly 30 years.
