A new, brighter future for Chorley Lodge care home

Chorley Lodge care home previously operated by Orchard Care Homes, went into administration on May 15, 2018 following difficult trading conditions. Careport Advisory Services Ltd, appointed by BDO Corporate Restructuring, have since operated the care home with a rigorous improvement plan.

Careport Advisory Services Ltd is a leading UK care sector advisory, management, financial services and recruitment company. Careport currently manages around 40 care homes on behalf of a variety of clients.

“Despite being just a few months into our tenure at Chorley Lodge – we can see the home has great potential, and some of our improvement strategies are already starting to come to fruition,” said Sheila Head, Careport’s Chief Operating Officer.

Careport’s rigorous improvement plan includes significant capital expenditure across the home in key categories; property upgrades inside and out, increased staff training and increased staff numbers with a goal of achieving outstanding levels of resident satisfaction.

The home is now under new ownership with Careport continuing to operate it on a long term basis.
