The Care Innovation Hub (CIH), a partnership designed to encourage entrepreneurship in the care sector, has appointed Navin Mayani as its new chief executive officer.
Navin comes with a wealth of experience in the corporate, not-for-profit and humanitarian sectors, most recently as Founder/CEO of the Charity CYE-CYL.
“I am delighted to join CIH at a time when we introduce ourselves to the care sector as the hub of new ideas, innovative solutions and breakthrough talent,” Navin said.
Navin’s appointment come as CIH prepares for this year’s Care Innovation Challenge where frontline care workers will act as advisors to help entrepreneurs identify whether their ideas are fit for purpose and support teams from ideation through to pilot.
“The Care Innovation Challenge will find the right entrepreneurs to bring positive change to the sector,” Navin added.
“Our Care Innovation Club will introduce them to leaders in care to tackle the biggest challenges together.”
CIH was set-up by Co-Founders Alex Ramamurthy (Care Workers Charity), Ash Goyal (Hallmark Care Homes), Ben Allen (Oomph Wellness) and Ben Wilkins (Good Boost).
