“It has been a pleasure acting for Graham in the sale of his business and we are confident that with Vaida’s local knowledge and expertise in the care sector, she will do very well with her first care home. We wish both parties all the best with their future plans. The sale of Down Lodge and the interest that was expressed demonstrates the strong demand being shown for care homes in the South and similar opportunities are required to satisfy the requirements of our applicants.”
The two-storey property comprises 14 single bedrooms and one twin bedroom, with seven of the rooms featuring en-suite facilities.
Vaida said: “Having owned and operated our homecare agency in Berkshire for a number of years, we felt that a move into owning a care home was a natural step for the company. We are delighted to have purchased a care home so close to our offices in Slough and look forward to being able to offer our clients excellent levels of care.”
