Work has begun on a new 75 bed care facility in Dartford, Kent, with York-based DWA Architects providing construction drawings for the project.
Working on behalf of main contractor Horizon Construction, the new facility will make use of a redundant site to provide a contemporary care home facility. The site is the former West Hill hospital at the junction of King Edward Avenue and West Hill.
David Ward, Managing Director of DWA Architects, said: “We pride ourselves on delivering quality work for our clients which in turn leads to quality care facilities. This project will deliver a modern, state-of-the-art care home, designed to complement its surroundings.”
