“Staff were highly motivated to treat the people they assisted with kindness and respect. People were supported to be involved in making decisions about their care and support needs.
“One relative said: ‘If this service had star ratings like a hotel it would be five stars, it is much better than we ever could have expected’.”
The Tudors accommodates 44 people, including people living with dementia, in one adapted building.
Ravi Gidar, Managing Director at Gold Care Homes, said: “This is testament to the hard work and drive shown by our staff in delivering our corporate goal of providing outstanding care to all our residents.
“This is our second outstanding home in the Gold Care portfolio, which is a fantastic achievement, but, the hard work isn’t over yet. We must build on this success and ensure we continue to maintain an excellent level of care while driving Gold Care Homes to unprecedented heights of care excellence.”
Ronnie Lane, Care Home Manager at The Tudors added: “Our regular engagement with the residents, their families and the local community has been fundamental in changing and shaping the service we deliver. This has been a key driver for our success.”
