Gold Care Homes celebrates second Outstanding

The Tudors Care Home in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire has become Gold Care Homes’ second Outstanding rated service.

The Tudors follows the Manor House in Kingstanding, Birmingham in gaining the CQC’s top rating (see Gold Care Homes celebrates CQC Outstanding).

Jemima Burnage, CQC’s Head of Inspection for Adult Social Care in the central region, said: “Our inspection team was really impressed by the level of care and support offered to people at The Tudors Care Home.

“Staff were highly motivated to treat the people they assisted with kindness and respect. People were supported to be involved in making decisions about their care and support needs.

“One relative said: ‘If this service had star ratings like a hotel it would be five stars, it is much better than we ever could have expected’.”

The Tudors accommodates 44 people, including people living with dementia, in one adapted building.
