National Care Forum launches NCF Consult service
[ad_1]
This week’s NCF Annual Conference saw the launch of a new service for care organisations.
NCF Consult, which is led by NCF’s team of experienced consultants, provides a wide range of support, from preparing for inspections to coaching and mentoring, reviewing actions and action plans and updating policies and procedures.
The service also supports all types of organisational transformation, including working with organisations as they move towards digital and technology enabled care.
NCF Executive Director Vic Rayner (pictured) said: “NCF listened to our membership, and recognised that sometimes they needed tailored organisation focussed support. In response to that need, we have developed NCF Consult enabling us to provide targeted consultancy when and where it is needed most. As we expand this service, we anticipate that it will support members across the not for profit care sector to grow from strength to strength.”
A pilot of NCF members have already benefited from this new initiative and initial feedback has been very positive about the quality of the expertise and guidance they have received, with one commenting: “I am pleased to recommend the service we contracted through NCF. It was a quick and efficient process and delivered very positive benefits to the service. There was the opportunity to have any issues pointed out and addressed in a friendly environment.
“The NCF Consultants came into one of our registered care homes, and spent the day at the service. They were very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. We already had an action plan in place around compliance and improvement, and the NCF provided us with ‘fresh eyes’, giving us the opportunity to identify the areas we needed more specific focus on.”
