Runwood Homes has invested £6m in rebuilding a former Warwickshire County Council owned care home.
The investment will be used to modernise and expand Four Acres near Redditch, which is now open to new admissions.
The state of the art care home has been developed to cater for older people, including those living with dementia.

Facilities include a concierge service, multiple lounges, desirable dining areas, courtyard garden, hairdressing and beauty spa, sociable café and kitchenettes to encourage independent living.
Runwood Homes has continued to work in partnership with Warwickshire County Council since taking over ownership of the service along with seven other of the local authority’s homes five years ago. The homes provided council referral as well as self-funding placements.
A Runwood Homes spokesperson said: “Consisting of 66 beautifully decorated bedrooms and superb shared spaces, Four Acres residents can be assured to find an exemplary care home experience, offering a truly professional 24-hour service where person-centred care and attention to detail are an everyday importance for residents to thrive in.”
The home will be managed Abdul Chirwa who previously gained a well-led and overall Outstanding at Runwood’s Woodbury Court in Essex (see Runwood Homes service maintains CQC Outstanding rating).
