Somerset Care celebrates 100% ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ rating

Somerset Care has announced that 100% of its 32 services, including care homes, home care and learning disabilities services, have been rated ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ by the CQC.

The milestone was reached following the awarding of a ‘good’ rating to its Portcullis House care home in Langport in March.

Sarah Hicks, Director of Operations said: “We are incredibly proud to have achieved 100% compliance across all our services. Quality is paramount in all that we do within the Somerset Care Group; to have this reflected by CQC is an amazing feat.  This achievement truly recognises the commitment our dedicated staff have to making a difference to the lives of the people we support.”

The Somerset Care Group is a not-for-profit organisation that has been providing high quality care and support to people across the South West since 1991. The group operates 26 care homes, a respite centre and supports people living in their own homes and supported living settings.
