A software solution designed to take the stress out of care catering has launched at Health Plus Care.
SoupedUp catering care software is designed to help kitchen staff, carers and administrative staff plan, manage and deliver premium level catering.
CEO and founder Belinda Adams said: “SoupedUp helps staff provide better care for their residents and takes away the compliance and risk burden from catering.”

Having established SoupedUp as the leading provider of catering care software in Australia serving 250 homes, Belinda is now targeting the UK market.
She recently completed a successful two-month trial at two HC-One homes.
HC-One Head of Hospitality Tracy Sutherland told CHP: “SoupedUp helps our chefs do their jobs with a greater degree of accuracy and takes away the administrative burden.”
The system offers commercial benefits by enabling more accurate costing of menus per residents and provides evidence to the CQC that a home is meeting its residents’ dietary needs.
Residents benefit by gaining a consistently bespoke menu, while relatives gain reassurance that their loved ones’ dietary requirements are being met.
The system enables staff to log individual resident’s like/dislikes, allergies and diets, combined with nutritional and allergen information.
“It’s a win-win solution,” said Belinda who has already begun talks with other providers on rolling out the software elsewhere.
