Windsor retirement village launches ‘try before you buy’ scheme

Castle View Windsor retirement village has launched a ‘try before you buy’ project to mark its first birthday.
The week-long scheme is designed to offer people a taste of the services and facilities provided by the village, which include a sky lounge and roof deck with views of Windsor Castle, a restaurant, two bars and lounges, and a library.
“Our new village residents can often be heard saying they wish they’d made the move earlier, but for those still contemplating the idea of selling their old home and downsizing it inevitably takes some thought,” said Robin Hughes, CEO of Castle View.
“When thinking about buying a new car you would probably take a test drive, so we are applying the same principle and inviting those considering purchasing one of our stunning apartments the opportunity to ‘test drive’ it and fully experience all the other stunning features we have here including the sky lounge, restaurant and library.”
Already nominated ‘The Most Outstanding Retirement Living Development in the UK for 2018’, Castle View Windsor prides itself on being independently designed, built, owned and operated. The premium village offers 64 contemporary 1, 2 & 3 bed apartments with the largest rooftop apartment offering over 1,000 sq ft of living space. Prices range from £375,000 to £895,000.
Try before you buy ‘Test Drives’ of Castle View start in January, and provide the opportunity for a single person or a couple to stay for a week in a fully furnished one bedroom apartment.
