Care home builder Wynbrook has begun construction work on two multi-million pound care home projects.
Wilford View Care Home in Nottingham is being built for Medina Limited on the site of a former pub, while the Roden Hall development in Telford, Shropshire is being constructed on behalf of Rotherwood Care on the site of a current care home.
Wynbrook Director Steve Day said: “Wilford View is the fifth care home we have built for this client and we are delighted to have the opportunity to build in such a prominent location, particularly as it involved the provision of lots of advice during the planning and design stages.

“Similarly, Roden Hall is the first project we have been involved with for Rotherwood Care which represents a great opportunity to expand our presence into the West Midlands.”
Work on the 83-bed, 38,254 sq ft Wilford View is expected to be completed by July 2019.
The project is being carried out in partnership with architects Rayner Davies, HWA and Edward Cooper Young.
The 68-bed Roden Hall development is expected to be completed by February 2019.
Once Roden Hall is completed, the existing care home could be refurbished to accommodate self-contained supported living apartments for the elderly. There is further space for six new retirement bungalows at the site.
